In the southernmost port in the City Armatha, a great celebration was marked with the booming of Cannons. The Bern Conglomerate had announced it’s newest venture, with much to be gained for it’s patrons and favored merchants.
Charters were given out on a free basis for those looking for adventure. All the gold a man could want, with a beach house just waiting to be built in the wonderful Bernich Waters.
The party set out with it’s small crew and entourage towards an unnamed island at coordinates (3.1,6.5). With no distractions allowed, the party past the Fourth Fort of Armatha, a shrine of the Traveling Twins, but stopped to assist a beautiful elven girl.
The young maiden led the party to a large crag among tumultuous shores, promising riches and magic (and, greatest of all to the scoundrels, two beautiful sisters).
When the crew and Party reached the shores of the Crag, they were set upon by Monstrous crabs that proved lengthy opponents.
After releasing the elven sisters, however, the crew realized they had been fooled. There were no beautiful maidens, save the one they saved from drowning. These two elven lasses were the girl’s mothers, but rewarded the party handsomely just the same.
With a great diamond in their ship and a collection of sapphires in their pockets, the party set off towards the island paradise they had been promised.
Upon reaching the island, the boat rushed upon a reef, rupturing it’s hull. The crew attempted to abandon the ship, but all but the PCs, the Boatswain, the Elven Sorceress, and the Necromancer had been crushed by the collapsing ship.
The players met a group of starving and dehydrated Raptorans on the beach. They are led by Hornith, a divine and arcane spellcaster.
Hornith pleaded with the party to destroy large Crabs that had taken up residence on the island between a forest that provided food, and the beach the Raptorans call Long Mile Beach. Once rid of the crabs, the party found that the river was filled with foul undead. Afterwords, the party found more than food in the forest. Large Half-Gorilla, Half-Spider men made the forest their home and spoke of war against the bird-men.
